If you have a door that swings open by itself, it is because the door jamb is not square and the door is not balanced properly. This easy fix works and takes just minutes to complete.

All you need to do is take out the top pin on the door hinge and bent it a bit to get your door to stay put. Here are the steps to take:

• Remove the top pin from the door hinge
• Place the pin on a flat solid surface like a board
• Hit the pin in the center with a hammer just a few times to put a slight bend in it
• Replace the pin in the door hinge
